Christmas is lame...

As requested, photos from this year's Haunted Barn Halloween party. A good time was had by all who attended (and made it out alive...)

And it is only happy coincidence that we live smack in the middle of an area where many do not acknowledge Halloween, they call it "Harvest Day". It makes putting a headless bride lit up out on the side of the road all the more fun.

Great photos Stefan, and really only a small portion of the interesting items on display from that night.

The five year olds that partied after trick or treat on the 31st thought the floating eyeballs and Uncle Dirtnap were very cool. We taught them the Time Warp and played "find the leg bone".

Signed... the coolest parents in Aldergrove.

The place looks amazing, but where are all the guests?

They got "accidentally" eaten..

Blimey Stef, you fell off the vegi-wagon big time! :-P

We found the British guests to be a bit over cooked and lacking in flavour. We decided next time we would stir fry rather than boil.

The locals tasted fresher and the team of folks recently back from Mongolia tasted vaguely of goat.

Inga: Let Stef do the cooking next time, you won't have that problem ;-)

Clearly you haven't dined at my table. I assure you, Brits and mutton eaters can't be cooked any better than I did, and yet the aftertaste remains.

Besides, don't count on Stefan to cook them, he gets all sympathetic when they cry out begging not to be stuffed into the boiling cauldron. Blah Blah Blah.

Tasting bad must be a genetic advantage we Brits have - a clever survival mechanism!

You'd best stick to eating the pre-spiced Germans and the self-marinating French next time!
